Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca and Visit to Marrakech

On the first day of your 5-day desert adventure, you will arrive in Casablanca and then head straight to the vibrant city of Marrakech. Known for its bustling markets, stunning architecture, and rich history, Marrakech is a must-see destination in Morocco. You will have the opportunity to explore the city’s famous landmarks, including the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. After a full day of sightseeing, you will head to your hotel for a restful night’s sleep before continuing your journey through the desert.

Day 2: Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley

On the second day, you will leave Marrakech and head towards the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco. This ancient fortress, composed of six kasbahs, has served as a backdrop for many Hollywood movies, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. After exploring the kasbah, you will continue your journey through the stunning Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and picturesque villages. You will spend the night in a traditional guesthouse in the heart of the valley, enjoying a delicious Moroccan dinner and relaxing under the stars.

Day 3: Explore the Dades Gorge, Todra Gorge, and Valley – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

On the third day, you will continue your journey through the Dades Valley and make your way to the Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon with towering rock walls that reach up to 300 meters high. You will have the opportunity to explore the gorge on foot and take in the breathtaking scenery. After lunch, you will head to Merzouga, a small village on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, you will meet your camel caravan and ride into the desert to reach your desert camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend the night in a traditional Berber tent, enjoying a delicious dinner and listening to traditional music around the campfire.

Day 4: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

On day four, you will leave Merzouga and head towards the Draa Valley, a beautiful oasis that stretches for over 100 kilometers. Along the way, you will pass through small Berber villages and see traditional adobe houses. Stop for lunch in the town of Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Afterward, continue your journey towards Marrakech, passing through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass. You will arrive in Marrakech in the evening and spend the night in a traditional riad in the heart of the city.

Day 5: Marrakech Gardens and New Town – Transfer to Casablanca Airport

On the final day of your desert adventure, explore the beautiful gardens of Marrakech, including the Majorelle Garden and the Menara Garden. Take a stroll through the new town of Marrakech, known for its modern architecture and bustling streets. In the afternoon, transfer back to Casablanca airport for your departure flight.
