Terms and Conditions of Traveling with Morkosh Tours

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking a trip with us. Once you pay the booking deposit online, you’ll receive a booking confirmation and receipt. Final payments are due 60 days before you arrive in Morocco. For bookings within 30 days of the tour start date, the initial deposit is followed by the final payment soon after. Morkosh Tours does not arrange airfare. All tour quotes are for in-country, land-only services. By booking, you accept all terms and conditions in this agreement. “Traveler,” “travelers,” or “you” refers to those traveling with Morkosh Tours, and “we” or “us” refers to Morkosh Tours.

Travel Insurance

Morkosh Tours highly recommends getting travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, evacuation, loss of belongings, trip cancellation, and interruption. You agree to cover all medical care and transportation costs for yourself and any minors traveling with you during the trip. Morkosh Tours is not liable for anyone’s medical costs or exit from a country in any situation.

Payment, Deposits, and Booking Acceptance

To book, you must complete our booking request and submit it with the deposit. Your booking is only confirmed when we send written confirmation. Payment must be made as specified on the booking form. If payment is not completed according to the terms, we may treat it as a cancellation and apply cancellation terms.

Last-Minute Bookings

For travel within 60 days of the trip start date, the deposit is due first, followed by the final payment soon after. Morkosh Tours may process final payments automatically before the trip start date and send a receipt.

Cancellation Policy and Refunds

To cancel a tour, notify Morkosh Tours in writing as soon as possible. A cancellation is considered received on the business day it arrives (US & Moroccan holidays are non-business days). If you cancel, the following applies:

  • 61 days or more: loss of all initial deposits
  • 46-60 days: loss of initial deposits and 50% of final payments
  • 45 days or less: loss of 100% of the tour cost

If you leave a trip in progress for any reason, there will be no refunds for unused portions. Morkosh Tours does not cover missed flights or other travel issues. We advise you to purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance.

Changing a Booked Tour

To change your tour itinerary, notify Morkosh Tours in writing. Changes may incur extra charges. If you request a date change, it depends on availability and may involve additional fees. No date changes can be made within 60 days of the tour. Morkosh Tours does not cover any charges due to such changes.

Pre-Departure Documents

You must read and sign our Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement before the tour starts. If you do not submit this and other required documents, we may treat the booking as canceled and apply cancellation fees.


Baggage and personal effects are at the owner’s risk throughout the tour. All costs for lost, damaged, or delayed baggage are at the owner’s expense.

Visas and Passports

Check visa requirements for Morocco. Your passport must be valid for at least six months upon arrival. Morkosh Tours is not liable for any issues if your entry to Morocco is delayed or denied.


Morkosh Tours works with local partners who are competent and reliable. However, we are not responsible for their actions or inactions. We act as an intermediary for independent vendors and suppliers.


You agree that Morkosh Tours may use any images, photos, or videos taken by our guides or other travelers of you for promotional purposes. If you do not want us to use images of you, inform us in writing before your trip.

Claims and Complaints

If you encounter a problem, notify us or the local guide immediately to rectify it. Failure to do so may reduce or eliminate your ability to claim compensation. Submit further complaints in writing within 30 days of the end of the tour.


Morkosh Tours reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Updates take effect 10 days after posting on our website. Review the latest terms before your trip.

Force Majeure

Morkosh Tours is not liable for delays or nonperformance due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., acts of God, terrorism, weather, strikes). We may alter or cancel tours if necessary for safety or other reasons. Refunds or changes due to Force Majeure will be less any non-refundable deposits and third-party cancellation fees.

Limitation of Remedies

To the extent permitted by law, the maximum recovery you may receive from Morkosh Tours is the land cost of your trip. Morkosh Tours is not liable for special, consequential, indirect, incidental, or other damages, including lost profits.

Binding Arbitration

Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in the state of Delaware, USA, under the American Arbitration Association Rules. The arbitration will be conducted on an expedited basis and in strict confidence.


If any part of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect.

Successors and Assigns

This agreement is binding on Morkosh Tours and the traveler and their respective heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns.


Headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of the agreement.


This agreement is the final, complete, and exclusive statement of the parties’ agreement. It supersedes all prior negotiations and agreements.

By paying the deposit to Morkosh Tours, you agree to be bound by this agreement.
